Report on So Cal Spring Thriller/So Cal Availables Showcase

The So Cal Spring Thriller/So Cal Available Showcase was an NCAA live period event held Friday-Sunday April 22-24 at Clava Sports Facility in Lake Forest. Here is a report on the event with prospects we overserved/evaluated that attracted our attention.

Top Prospects: (*indicates highest consideration for this category)

5’10 PG Nabhi Abbishi Jr. of Tamalpais HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
He’s on the thin side but has some quickness to go with decent handles. He’s better suited for the open court game right now where he can slice and dice his way in space. He shows patience running the offense.

6’7 PF Prince Adjei of St. Augustine HS (CA) 2022 (Swordsmen)

Adjei was a guy who had a solid performance and put himself on the radar at this event. He’s an athletic four-man with long arms and big feet. He moves well without the ball, is an ok 3-point shooter and has a pull-up game in the half court. He can defend/block a shot and rebound.

*6’11 C James Agany of Crean Lutheran HS (CA) 2022 (LA Elite Seniors)

Agany is raw but has a very intriguing upside. He has long arms, big feet and can run the floor. He can shoot it a little and he has a  decent jump hook. He is an imposing shot blocker/changer. If you coach this guy you are really going to have something in the long run. D-I prospect for sure.

6’9 C Tony Acevedo of Bishop Alemany HS (CA) 2022 (LA Elite Senior)

Acevedo is a promising five man with nice potential. He has long arms and he can run the floor and he works at it. He’s a decent handler who can make the face up-drive and he shows some post-up skills. And he is active on the glass at both ends.

6’1 CG Sean Ahern of Monte Vista HS (CA) 2023 (Kingdom Academy 17)

Ahern is a competitive combo guard with a high IQ. He plays within himself and does not make many mistakes. He does attack consistently and is highly efficient.

6’2 CG Tariq Ali of Folsom HS (CA) 2022 (PAL Elite Seniors)

Ali is an energetic and athletic combo guard who makes a lot of things happen, both on the break and in the half court. He has skills, athleticism and a motor which makes him a very effective player.

6’5 SF Quinn Atazhoon of Pima College (AZ) 2023 JUCO (Independent 1)

Atazhoon is a competitive wing man who can run all day  long. He displays an effective pull-up game-both on the break and in the half court. And he is a good 3-point shooter. He’s also a good and willing passer.

6’3 W/F Marrel Alexander of Pittsburgh HS (CA) 2025 (Dream Sports Academy 16)
He’s a bit on the raw side, but has a good upside being a 2025 prospect. He’s athletic and will throw one down if there’s a path. At 6’3 his post work was okay for this level, but he has the freedom to try things, like shooting 3’s, handling the ball on the perimeter, and in transition. D I/D II

*6’8 W/F Alier Alier of Orangewood Academy HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
He’s long wiry and bouncy, he stronger than he looks, but still can use some strengthening. He’s effective around the rim keeping the ball live, finishing with tip-ins, put-backs and dunks. He can handle a bit and stick the free throw jumper. DI prospect.

6’3 CG Jorden Andrews of Bakersfield College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Independent 2)

Andrews is an athletic combo guard who plays with a lot of energy. He has solid ball handling and passing skills and he pushes the break well. He can score from all three levels consistently and he can run all day long.

*5’10 PG Paul Antoine of Wallenberg HS (CA) 2025 San Francisco Rebels 15u)
A hard playing ball hawk of a guard on defense. His quick hands and feet were on display along with his lateral movement and arms extended, guarding the ball. He’s good up top on traps. He’ll fill the lanes in transition and finish through contact. A developing skill set. DI, DII.

6’2 CG Naj Ashley of Compton College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Independent 2)

Ashley is a competitive combo guard who makes a lot of plays with the ball in his hands. He can handle and pass it very confidently and will keep coming at you from start to finish.

6’5 S/F William Bailey of San Diego Mesa College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Olympians)

Bailey is a long and athletic wing/guard who can play multiple positions effectively. He has the size and passing ability to be a nice playmaker both on the break and in the half court. A real team guy who facilitates well.

6’5 PF/C Curtis Banks of Mt. Diablo HS (CA) 2024 (Dream Sports Academy 17)

Banks is a very athletic and bouncy combo postman. He has some post-up skills with a jump hook and a turnaround shot. He does a solid job rebounding the ball. D II

*6’3 PG Anthony Bell of San Bernardino Valley College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Brewer’s Bombers)

Bell had a solid performance in displaying a solid all-around game. He is an excellent passer who sees the floor well and attacks on the first break consistently. In the half court he is a solid driver/penetrator with a nice first step. He’s also a good on-ball defender and a capable rebounder. Low D I prospect.

*6’4 SF Aeramiah Binford of Ascending Life Prep (AZ) 2024 (Saints 17)

Binford is an impressive athlete who can elevate very well. His long arms and pursuit of the ball makes him an effective rebounder. He has a weird rotation on his shot but somehow manages to knock them down.

6’4 SF Masiah Binford of Ascending Life Prep (AZ) 2023  (Saints 17)

Binford is an ultra-athletic wing who uses that athleticism most effectively. He does a nice job elevating and finishing over defenders. And he is a good rebounder who can rise up and go get it. He does need to prove himself as a perimeter shooter.

*6’0 PG Dillon Botts of Mayfair HS (CA) 2022 (Swordsmen)

Botts had a stellar performance and was one of the standouts at this event. He is a real athletic one-man with nice burst who runs very well. He is impressive in transition and can score in the half court. He has quick hands defensively and creates havoc as an on-ball defender. High D II.

5’8 PG Jimon Campbell of Oakland HS (CA) 2023 (San Franciso Rebels 17)

Campbell is the energizer bunny with elite-level athleticism. He can really go-has speed to burn and plays with all-out energy/effort. He pushes the break well/consistently, he shoots it ok with long range and he is a solid on-ball defender. A little man who plays big.

*6’0 SG Joshua Cartagena of Fernley HS (CA) 2022 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
He’s an experienced and aggressive combo guard with good speed and quickness with the ball who will never let up. He had successful drives from the perimeter. He can shoot off the dribble, he has a quick release, and will knock down open 3’s. DIII/NAIA/Juco.

6’2 SG Noah Carmona of Milken Community HS (CA) 2022 (BTI Prep Stats 17)

Carmona is an excellent shooter with long range who puts it up with a lot of confidence. He runs the floor hard and he can finish in transition. He also shows a solid mid-range game in the half court.

*6’1 CG Jonathon Chapple of Albany HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
A productive combo guard at this stage, who can shift from 1 to 2. He can handle, and pass. He’s a scorer who can get into the paint for dump offs or get his own. He has a mid-range jumper he can drop, and 3-point range. He’ll defend on ball.

*6’3 PG Aaron Claytor of Iolani HS (HI) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 17)

Clayton was another pleasant discovery at this event. He demonstrated a solid all-around game and put himself on the 2024 radar. He has solid ball handling and passing skills and does a nice job running the team. He has a good feel and is a steady performer. Clayton will be transferring to Salesian Prep in Richmond, CA for the 2022-2023 school year.

*6’8 C Keyshawn Clyde of Southern Nevada CC 2022 Juco (Independent 1)

Clyde got a lot accomplished at the offensive end at this event and showed he belongs on the radar. He’s a versatile scorer who can post up some, beat the defender on the face-up drive and shoot it ok with range. He just needs to get his conditioning to a proper level-if that happens the future looks bright for him.

*6’4 SF Tayden Collins of Aspire Benjamin Holt HS (CA) 2024 (The Right Way To Play)
A good-size forward with a good upside and plenty of room to grow his game. He has to bulk up a bit and get more aggressive working in the paint. Although there were moments when he looked hard to guard in the paint. He’ll work for rebounds and he’s a good passer. Likely D II.

*6’2 SF Jeremiah Collins of Pittsburg HS (CA) 2024 (Dream Sports Academy 17)

Collins has an impressive outing at this event and showed he belongs on the 2024 radar. He’s a real athletic wing with a pretty solid all-around game at both ends. He can score, defend and rebound. The future looks bright for him.

*5’9 PG Sage Copeland of Alameda HS (CA) 2025 (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
He did a good job in transition sprinting, and staying wide on his way to the corners for catch 3’s. At 5’9 he’s a solid ball handler with good speed to get into the paint for floaters, and jumpers. D II/D III.

5’11 SG Travis Coulter of Edward Reed HS (NV) 2024 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
A sharp shooter who runs off-screens and moves well without the ball, while looking for open 3’s along the perimeter. He was quite successful, knocking down shots in the corner and wings on the catch. You have to know where he is. DII/DIII

5’9 PG Timmy Da of Lincoln, Stockton HS (CA) 2025 (The Right Way To Play)
He has good all-around quickness on both ends.  He’ll use quick hands for a steal. He has a decent jump shot all the way out to the 3. He hit a few corner3’s and played along the baseline pretty well using short jumpers and floaters. DII/DIII

6’5 Quinlan Daly of Crescenta Valley HS, (CA) 2022 (BTI Prep Stars 17)

Daly is a competitive wing who can really shoot the ball (with 3 range). He take good shots and he is not afraid to take the money shot when the games is on the line. And he pulls up well in the half court.

5’10 SG Deandre Demisse of Wallenberg HS (2025) (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
A confident combo guard and good athlete. He has the handles and skills to get his own shot, as he penetrates with toughness or pulls up for a paint jumper. He’ll pass ahead in transition. At this level he’ll get rebounds and defend multiple positions. DI/DII

 *6’3 SG Nigel Dickens of Providence HS (CA) 2022 (BTI United 17)
Dickens is an athletic guard with length. He covers a lot of space with his strides, and is a run and jump type. He spots-up behind the 3pt line and can light it up. He has a cross over mid-range jumper he relies on mostly. He’s good in transition, and space. He also finds ways to come up with rebounds. DII, Juco.

6’5 PF Dominic Dix of AOSS Prep (CA) 2023 (Cali Elite Anthony 17)

Dix is an active and fairly athletic four man. His best asset is  his ability to pursue the ball on the glass. He does go after it. He’s a decent ball handler and he shoots it ok with 3 range.

*6’4 SF/PF Kevin Doe of East HS (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake Rebels 17 Red)

Doe is a versatile combo forward who is fairly athletic and can score inside and on the drive. He can post up and he has a nice jump hook. He can finish in transition, and he has a nice first step on the drive in the half court. The big issue for Doe is he must develop a perimeter shot to keep the defense honest.

6’1 CG James  Baker-Dunlap of Compton College (CA) 2023 JUCO (Independent 2)

Baker-Dunlap excels in up-tempo and can consistently score. In the half court he is an impressive driver and he can shoot it ok with 3-range. He is consistently in attack mode.

* 6’8 PF Norman Dupree of Edward Reed HS (NV) 2022 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
An able body big with good production in the paint at times. He played well off two feet and had good post moves in the paint. He did okay running the court, with follow-ups. He’ll defend his position and get his rebounds. Likely DII prospect.

5’10 PG Zemaury Erfe of Sacred Heart Cathedral HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
Quality handles. Good vision and passing and shows patience setting half-court sets. He’s a pass first point guard.  He pushes hard in transition looking to pass ahead. He can get into the paint using his floater and paint jumper to keep them off balance. DIII/NAIA.

*6’2 CG Isaiah Garcia of Bishop Manogue HS (NV) 2023 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
A versatile guard who made good decisions with the ball. He’s an excellent passer with good vision in transition and in half-court. He executes the pick-and-roll, has a good pull-up jumper, and will finish in transition. DII/DIII/NAIA.

6’4 SF Alon Garrett of Antelope HS (CA) 2023 (Rose City Ballers 17u)
He has good fundamentals in the post, but he’ll have to get stronger and more aggressive. He gives a good effort trying to score points and get rebounds. He’s a solid passer from the high post and can stick the elbow jumper every now and then. DIII/NAIA/Juco.

6’5 PF Kingston Gonzalez of Moreau Catholic HS (CA) 2025 (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
He’s a big body post player at this point, still developing his post skills. He’s not fast but was aggressive when on the court. He clogged up the paint and set screens. He’ll defend and go after rebounds in his space.  DII/ DIII/Juco.

5’10 SG Lucas Gray of St. Anthony HS (CA) 2022 (LA Elite)

Lucas Gray is a skill factory. A ball handler and passer with a nice pull-up game who can really shoot it with long range. And he does a nice job at catch and shoot.

*6’6 SF Lance Green W/F of Alta HS (UT) 2024 (Salt Lake Rebels 16U)
He’s a long active forward with solid post skills and is improving his game away from the basket. He’ll get stronger. He’s a good passer from the high post. He runs the court well and goes after rebounds and blocks. DI/DII

*6’2 PG Darie Hammons of George Washington HS (CO) 2021 (Xima Prep)

Hammons is an athletic one man who gets a lot of things done. He has solid ball handling and passing skills and is a capable playmaker in transition. He’s a solid driver and a nice rebounder from the guard position.

5’11 SG Roman Haueter of Westlake HS (UT) 2024 (Salt Lake Rebels 16U)
He had good all-around play, doing some ball handling in the open court. This lefty had a few transition layups running the court. He’s most effective spotting up behind the 3-point line where he made catch 3 jumpers in the corners. DII/DIII/NAIA.

6’3 PG Darrell Henry Jr of St. John Bosco HS (CA) 2022 (LA Elite Seniors)

Henry does a nice job making plays consistently in transition. He is a nice combination of skills and athleticism. He is an assist-waiting to-happen with his passing ability.

6’5 SF Emanwel Henry of San Diego Mesa College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Olympians)

Henry is long and very athletic and elevates impressively. His ability to elevate allows him to finish over defender and also to get to rebounds and secure them at both ends. Probably needs to prove himself as a perimeter shooter.

6’0 Adrian Hernandez of Middlebrooks Academy (CA) 2022 (Independent 1)

Hernandez is a steady and consistent one man who is a real hustler. And he has impressive all-around skills. He’s a confident ball handler, unselfish passer, a good shooter with 3 range and he has a legit pull-up game.

5’9 PG Kayshaun Hunte of Pittsburgh HS (CA) 2024 (Dream Sports Academy 16)
A wiry guard with some tools to work with. He made good decisions for a player that handles the ball a lot. He has good court vision and passing. He’s kind of crafty in how he gets his shot off, using off-hand, inside-hand, and opposite foot to avoid contact and get his points.

6’1 PG Isaiah Ito of Christian Brothers HS (CA) 2023 (Rose City Ballers 17u Select)
He was a solid performer as a pass-first point guard. His handles are good, and he uses his body to make up for not being speedy. But he was effective looking for cutters, and shooters in the corner for 3’s. He hit the mid-range jumper along the baseline. DIII/NAIA/Juco.

6’3 W/F Tyrone Jackson Jr. of Oakland Tech HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
He’s one of those players that can have an effect on the game without scoring points. He’s getting bigger and stronger. He has good court speed to get up and down defending or filling lanes in transition. His offense is a bit behind, he can handle a bit, finish in transition, and battle for rebounds, and put- backs at this level. DIII/Juco.

*6’5 W/F Carsen Jensen W/F of Bishop Manogue HS (Nev) 2023 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
A run and jump type of player. He’s good around the basket with good strength going up off two feet. He gets good lift on his mid-range jump shot. He works for rebounds, defends hard and runs the court filling lanes. DII/DIII/NAIA. 

*6’2 PG Nathan Jetter of Amador Valley HS (CA) 2022 (Train First)

Jetter is a promising young prospect in the 2024 class. He is a solid ball handler who makes pretty good decisions and has a nice feel. He moves well without the ball and he gets to the basket on the drive. One to watch.

5’9 PG Devan Johnson of Liberty HS (CA) 2024 (Nor Cal Prep 15)
An energetic player with good intensity on defense. He had some success ball handling and trying to run the team up top. He showed good burst in the open court, as he worked his way into the paint for floaters and paint jumpers. DI/ DIII.

*6’6 PF Nehemiah Johnson of Future College Prep (CA) 2022 (Cooper Academy 17/Post Grad)

Johnson is a promising four-man who will get your attention when you watch him play. He’s explosive with long arms and passes the look test with flying colors. He is a decent face-up ball handler, and he has a nice drop step on the block. He can rebound and block a shot as well. Johnson is a Division I prospect.

6’5 SF/PF Khalil Jones of Archbishop Riordan HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
He’s on the raw side, still learning how to play. He has good length and a frame to add muscle. He gives good effort going after rebounds, trying to block shots, and defending his area. Sharpening his fundamental skills, we’ll see a rise in his game. Sleeper watch. DI/DII.

*5’11 G/W Sirvante Jones of Pittsburg HS, (CA) (Dream Sports Academy 17)

Jones is an athletic guard/wing who makes a lot of things happen. He excels in transition and can run all day long. He plays without it, can get to the basket on the drive and posts up a little. He must prove himself as an outsider shooter.

6’1 PG Johnathan Joseph of Santa Ana College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Independent 1)

Productive is the best word to describe the play of Jonathan Joseph. He’s a solid ball handler and a good passer who distributes it well. He consistently makes plays for his teammates in transition, and he can finish for himself as well. He’s also a good 3-point shooter. He’s a good guy to have on your side.

*6’1 SG Antonio Kellogg Jr. of San Leandro HS (CA) 2025 (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
A long athletic player with good intensity and focus on the court. He has quick hands, and feet, along with lateral movement to be a disruptor on defense. He’s a quality ball handler and passer. He has good speed to go by defenders and length to finish in the paint with floaters, and jumpers. He’ll defend full court. DI/DII

*6’2 SG Zaire King of Cristo Rey De la Salle HS (CA) 2025 (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
He’s an athletic guard with good tenacity on the defensive side of the ball. He’s up close and tight trying to disrupt the ball handler in open court. He’ll run the court in transition. He has the body to finish through contact. DI/DII.

5’10 PG Kamari King of Birmingham Charter HS (CA) 2025 (Cali Elite Jason 16)
A fast and hard-to-stay-in-front-of point guard in the open court. He pushes and passes up. He’s shifty with okay passing. He’s still learning how to run the point. He’s got the quick burst to get into the paint for floaters, a decent mid-range jumper. DI/DII.

6’6 PF Kiminou Knox of Bishop O’Dowd HS (CA) 2025 (San Francisco Rebels 15u)
A big body post prospect who was aggressive in the post while in the game. He’s strong and will go after rebounds. At this point he’s in the process of developing foot work in the paint, but for now he’ll pass, screen, and intimidate at this level. DI/DII

 *6’5 W/F Kallen Lewis 6’5 of Corner Canyon HS (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake 17U Black)
He showed good body control after being bumped finishing in transition. He’s long and runs the court pretty well. He’ll finish with the left or right and will dunk if it’s there. He moves pretty well on defense using his length to take away easy.

5’10 SG Jack Lin of Diamond Bar HS (CA) 2024 (HOH 17)

Lin is a confident two guard who plays with a lot of purpose and he has a solid skill set. He’s a capable ball handler who has a pull-up game in the mid-range. His best asset is his ability to shoot the ball (with long range).

5’10 CG Maurice Lynch of Valley View HS (CA) 2024 (Cali Elite Jason 16)
He’s a hard playing guard that doesn’t mind the physical part of the game. He uses his body and strength along with decent handles to attack the paint area. He’ll defend hard in the open court and has a nice short corner jumper.

5’9 CG Tyreese Lynch of Valley View HS (CA) 2024 (Cali Elite 16)
A physical player who gives good effort on defense. He’ll make you work for it. He has decent handles, he looks to pass it up in transition. He’ll absorb contact as he goes strong to the basket. He has a decent mid-range jumper.

*6’5 SF Darius Mc Clain of Future College Prep (CA) 2022 (Cooper International 17/Post Grad)

Mc Clain will impress you in a number of ways when you watch him play. He can handle and pass it, he finishes on the break, he’s an ok 3-point shooter and he pulls up nicely in the half court. He is also a capable rebounder.

6’3 CG Mubarak Michael of San Bernardino Valley College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Brewer’s Bombers)

Michael is a strong and fairly athletic combo guard who can impact the game at both ends. He has a versatile offensive skills set showing the ability to score with the drive, perimeter shot or mid-range pull up. He’s also a good defender who makes things difficult for his opponents.

*6’3 W/SG Malachi Miller of Central Catholic HS (CA) 2023 (San Francisco Rebels 17U)
A strong body player who is an elite-level athlete that can handle the physical play that goes on when he makes his way into the paint off the dribble. He’s a strong finisher around the basket who can elevate over the defense. He has a good touch off the back board. He can hit the mid-range jumper with a hand in his face. He’s a rebounding guard, who can guard in the post and on the perimeter. He plays in attack mode and keeps coming after you. Not a fun guy to play against.

6’3 CG KJ Miller of Layton HS (UT) 2024 (Salt Lake Rebels 17 Black)

Miller is a promising two guard in the 2024 class. He has a solid all-around skill and a nice feel. He is a guy the coach can trust and a guy who will be in the game when the money is on the line.

*6’9 PF Rick Maganga of TMG Prep (CA) 2022 (TMG)

Maganaga was arguably the best player in the event. He was most impressive! He is active and aggressive and athletic with long arms and most significantly- has a nice motor. He is an excellent face-up driver who routinely beats defenders, and he is a fairly good mid-range shooter. He can rebound at both ends and he can defend multiple positions. Maganga is an impact player in the mid/mid plus range.

*6’7 PF/SF Terrance Marigney of Southern Nevada CC 2022 JUCO (Independent 1)

Marigney is an athletic combo forward who demonstrated his high-level athleticism quite well in this event. He is real good at finishing on the break. He can put it down and get to the hoop on the drive. He works hard at the defensive end and can guard four positions. He’s also a solid rebounder. Nice-looking prospect who does need to prove he can shoot from the perimeter.

*6’3 CG Jahloni Mitchell of San Diego Mesa College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Olympian)

Mitchell has the ability to play on and off the ball and be effective. And when he has the ball he can create for himself and others. He has a nice feel for the game as well. A guy the coach can trust.

6’1 SG Mathew Montalvo of Imperial Valley College (CA) 2022 JUCO (EL Centro)

Montalvo is a two guard with a high IQ and a good feel for the game. He shoots the ball fairly well with long range and a lot of confidence. He sees the floor well and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. And he shows good leadership skills.

*6’1 CG Armon Muldrew of San Bernardino Valley College (CA) 2023 JUCO (Brewers’s Bombers)

Muldrew was one of the stand-out players at the event and he showed that he is a sure-fire Division I player. He’s strong and athletic and is very effective on the first break. He does a nice job finishing in transition and he also has a nice mid-range pull-up game in the half court. He moves well without it and he shoots it well with 3-point range. He also has an impressive floater drive. Muldrew will play DI basketball-it is just a question of what level.

6’0 PG Eydrus Muse of Chandler HS (AZ) 2022 (PAL Elite Seniors)

Muse is a real athlete with impressive burst. He sees the floor on the break and is a good passer. He has a nice first step on the drive and can get be defender pretty well.

*6’4 PF Paxton Naegle of Corner Canyon HS (UT) 2025 (Salt Lake Rebels 15U)
At 6’4 he wears a size 17 shoe at age 15. It’s safe to say more growth coming. He has good fundamental skills and moves well in the post. He has a drop step, powers up off two feet, and goes after rebounds. He’s a good passer and he runs the middle court.

*6’2 SG Jalen Newhouse of El Camino HS (CA) 2023 (San Francisco Rebels 17U)
A no-nonsense player with good focus on the court. He’s put in the work to improve his play on the perimeter. His mid-range jumper all the way out to the 3pt line is showing signs of improvement. He’s getting to the paint off the dribble more often. DII/DIII

6’5 PF Thierry Ngo of Renaissance Academy (CA) 2023 (San Francisco Rebels 17)

Ngo is a strong and fairly athletic four-man with long arms who has a nice upside. He can post  up some and has a solid turnaround shot on the block. He is an intruding prospect to keep an eye on.

An athletic wing player with good strong finishes, slicing, and cutting to the basket. He took it strong off the dribble with a few spin moves, and off two feet. He has good bounce going after rebounds and will challenge bigger players in the paint. DI/DII.

6’3 W Justin Obibo of Pasadena Poly HS (CA) 2023 (BTI United 17)

Obibo is an athletic wing with some bounce. He can handle and pass it and get to the hoop on the drive. He also has a solid jump hook on the block and he can rebound the ball.

6’4 SF Timothy Parker of Norte Dame HS (CA) 2022 (Cali Elite Anthony 17)

Parker has an excellent pull-up game in the mid-range. He’s a confident ball handler who has a nice hesitation move , ok drive and a clever floater shot. He just needs to prove himself as a perimeter shooter. He recently committed to University of St. Katherine’s.

*6’0 CG Damien Parker of Future College Prep (CA) 2022 (Cooper International 17/Post Grad)

Parker is a fairly athletic combo guard who brings a pretty complete all-around game to the table. He can shoot it with 3-range, and he is a nice passer. His best asset is his ability to get to the basket on the drive with a nice first step and a clever hesitation move. He has an accomplished mid-range game as well.

6’0 PG Max Parmigiani of American Canyon HS (CA) 2022 (Team Rampage Seniors)

Parmigiani is a fairly athletic one man who is effective on the break and in the half court making plays for himself and others. He is an up-tempo guy with skills who can score in all three levels and distribute to others as well.

Patton is a supremely confident ball handler with tight handles and good quickness to go by defenders. He’s fast pushing it in open court. He’s a willing passer who can penetrate and dish with a bit of flash. He has a good mid-range jumper. He has the speed and quickness to stay on fast ball handlers. DI/DII

*6’0 PG Fredrick Pernell of Sacred Heart Cathedral HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
Pernell is honing his playmaking skills at the point guard position. He’s showing patience, and good decision making with his passes. He sees the court in transition, as he gets into the paint off the dribble and hits the mid-range jumper.

6’4 G/W Tucker Peterson of Southern Nevada CC 2022 JUCO (Independent 1)

Peterson is a strong and hard-working guard/wing who proved one thing for sure at this event: he can shoot the ball! Real nice form and he has a lot of confidence. He can bounce it and get to the basket on the drive and he has a solid floater.

6’4 G/W Michael Pierce of American HS (CA) 2022 (Team Rampage Seniors)

Pierce is a versatile guard/wing who can score in deferent ways. He pretty much does it all except for posting up. He can drive shoot, pull-up and he has a nice floater.

6’5 SF/PF Rayan Raad of Crescenta Valley HS (CA) 2022 (BTI Prep Stars 17)

Raad is a versatile combo forward with a solid skill set. He moves well without the ball and he is a consistently good shooter with long range. He has a sneaky good first step and can get to the hoop on the drive. He works hard at the defensive end.

5’10 CG Logan Raven of Tamalpais HS (CA) 2024 (San Francisco Rebels 16u)
He plays on-the-go while on the court. A muscular speedy point guard, always looking to put pressure on the defense in transition or half-court. He has good handles to attack the paint hard and will pull up for 3’s in transition. DII/DIII

6’4 G Eddie Reddiccs of Merced College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Independent 2)

Reddiccs is an athlete with speed to burn. He can really turn on the jets and he loves the up-tempo game. He has a real nice first step and he breaks down defenders on the drive consistently.

6’0 CG Cole Roberts of Cedar Valley HS (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake Rebels 17U Black)
He plays a balanced game. A good floor runner who can handle in transition or fill the lanes and look for his shot. He’ll hit shots from 3 in the corner or hit mid-range 3’s in transition. DII/DIII/NAIA.

6’3 CG Lincoln Roberts of Cedar Valley HS (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake Rebels 17U Black)
He has good fundamentals, runs the court, handles and passes well in open court. He moves without the ball, spots up for 3’s or hits the mid-range shot. He’ll get into the paint for shots. DII/DIII/NAIA.

*6’3 PG Uriyah Rojas of Cooper International Academy (CA) 2022 (Cooper Int. Academy 17/Post Grad)

Rojas was one of the standouts at the event-he turned in a splendid all-around performance. He is a fairly athletic one-man who does a ton of things to impact the game. He consistently creates scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. He shoots it well (3 range), he goes very hard to the hoop on the drive (solid first step/nice hesitation move) and he is very good pulling up-both on the break and in the half court. Rojas is definitely a DI guy who needs to be on college coach’s radar.

*6’1 SG John Rosevear of Brighton HS (UT) 2025 (Salt Lake Rebels 15U)
One of the better shooters we saw in the 15u age group. He stays wide in transition and heads straight to the corner locked and loaded to knock down 3’s. He handles okay and can take it strong to the basket in transition.

6’3 W/SF Kaden Rowe of Bishop Manogue HS (NV) 2025 (Jam On It Run n Gun)
A 2025 playing up, He had good poise and fundamentals, not rushed. He plays inside and outside at this point. He did shoot a couple of 3’s, and has a solid body band, allowing him to score inside.  He rebounds well. DI/DII.

6’4 SG Dylan Sanders of Astravo Academy (CO) 2022 (Salt Lake Rebels 17 Gray)

Sanders brings a nice combination of skills and athleticism to the table. He plays with confidence and is pretty efficient. He’s a solid shooter (3 range) with a nice mid-range pull-up.

6’1 CG Mahlik Smith of Oakland Tech HS (CA) 2023 (San Francisco Rebels 17U)
A strong combo guard with good handles- he does a nice job pushing the break and seeing the floor, He has the strength to force his way into the paint off the dribble. He can finish through contact. He’s a smart player that doesn’t overdo it. He can hit the mid-range jumper, and he’ll make you work for points. Hard guy to play against. DII/DIII/NAIA.

6’1 SG Sam Smith of San Diego Mesa College (CA) 2023 JUCO (Olympians)

Smith is an athletic two guard who brings a diverse offensive game to the table. He sees the floor well on the break and he can rebound.

6’1 SG Ivan Soto of El Camino HS (CA) 2023 (San Francisco Rebels 17U)
A heads-up guard who plays a balanced game. He’s an alert defender, good on the ball and always in help off. He has a decent set of handles and can get hot shooting from behind the 3pt line.

6’4 SF Dylan Stout of Diamond Bar HS (CA) 2022 (HOH Seniors)

Stout demonstrated a good feel for the game and a capable set of skills at this event. In addition to having a high IQ he has a wide variety of assets offensively. He can score just about every way possible with the exception of posting up. He is also a decent rebounder.

6’2 SG Jalyn Talbert of Citrus Hill HS (CA) 2024 (Cali Elite Jason 16)
He’s a strong body with a good cross-over dribble on the initial attack. He was successful getting into the paint, but has to convert. He’s a good rebounder at this level. He’ll defend in the post, and on the perimeter. DII/DIII/Juco.

5’10 PG Cameron Taylor of Elsinore HS (CA) 2023 (Cali Elite Anthony 17)
A fast and speedy point guard with good qualities in the open court. He showed patience running the offense in half-court sets, his burst of speed gets him by defenders and into the paint for floaters, and paint jumpers, he can handle the contact on the drive. He’s a good on ball defender. DII, DIII, NAIA, Juco.

*6’5 W/SF Cortevious Taylor of Independence HS (CA) 2024 San Francisco Rebels 16u)
A rising prospect in the NorCal Class of 2024. He’s agile for the weight he carries and is becoming that go-to guy when you need a bucket. He’s showing signs of being a 3-level scorer. He shows toughness working the boards inside. DI/DII

5’11 SG Terrell Tek of Chavez HS (CA) 2024 (The Right Way To Play)
A solid body guard with a dominate use of the left hand. He’s geared to go left but can finish in the open court with his right. He was effective getting into the paint and drawing contact. He plays good defense in the open court. He got a few steals.

*5’8 SG Carte Thomas of Pittsburgh HS (CA) 2024 (Dream Sports Academy 16)
He’s standing 5’8 and is solid as a rock. He was a consistent scorer throughout the event in this age group. He made big shots when his team needed him. He has a steady mid-range jumper, he can pull-up in transition for 3’s or short jumpers. DII/DIII/Juco.

6’1 CG Austin Thomas of Norte Dame HS (CA) 2022 (Cali Elite Anthony 17)

Thomas is an athletic combo guard with some versality to his game. He has the ability to score from all three levels (perimeter, mid-range and at the rim) and he plays in attack mode. And he will get after it at the defensive end.

6’3 CG David “Justice” Torres of Cesar Chavez HS (AZ) 2022 (Pal Elite Seniors)

Torres is an athletic combo guard who is effective scoring in transition and in the half court. He can do damage from all three levels and he has a nice motor as well.

5’8 PG Jeremy Trail of Timpview HS (UT) (2024) (Salt Lake Rebels 16U)
He was a patient ball handler up top, with good vision passing in half-court and in transition. He found cutters to the basket, made good post entry passes, and found shooters on the perimeter. When left alone he’ll drill the 3-pointer. DII/DIII/NAIA.

 6’2 W/SF Domonic Walker of Moreau Catholic HS (CA) 2025) (San Francisco Rebels 15u
At this level, standing 6’2 he showed he could defend in the post and guard on the perimeter. He worked side to side, fronted, and boxed out. He’s a good court runner and will shoot the 3-pointer if open. He’s got a growth spurt coming. DII.

*5’8 PG Sude Wells of Corner Canyon HS (UT) 2025 (Salt Lake Rebels 15U)
He doesn’t look the part until you see that he’s a tough competitor who can handle pressure in the backcourt. He split the defense a couple of times. He can run the offense up top. He’s a decent passer, and he looks for his shot. He hit a few step-back mid-range jumpers, and a 3. 

*5’11 CG Damani Wilkerson of Hillcrest Middle School (UT) 2025 (Salt Lake Rebels 15U)
We’ll keep an eye on this 2025. He hasn’t entered high school yet but has a good body and decent set of skills. He handles, passes, and hits outside shots. He runs and passes well in transition and can play either guard position right now.

*6’6 W/SF Daishaun Wilkerson-Buie of Murray (UT) 2023 (Salt Lake Rebels 17U black)
A long athletic player with some bounce to his game. He’s a good court runner and will use his bounce to finish with two-handed dunks. He plays well around the basket off two feet. He has a decent mid-range jumper and hit from the free throw area. DII

*6’1 SG Isaiah Wilson of BME Academy 2022 (LA Elite Senior 2022)

Wilson was a nice discovery at this event with his solid all-around performance. He can score from all three levels and he keeps coming at you in attack mode. He shows some ability defensively and he can rebound.

65 SF Anderson Wilson  of Mountain Pointe HS (AZ) 2022 (Pal Elite Seniors)

Wilson is an impressive three-level scorer. He is a solid driver who can finish with contact. He has a nice pull-up game (on the break and in the half court). He can shoot it with 3 range. He’s also a capable rebounder.

*6’8 PG Daylen Williams of Southern Idaho College (CA) JUCO (Independent 1)

Williams is a face-up four man who is very skilled and possess problems for the opponent in a number of ways. He gets to the hoop consistently on the face-up drive and he is a confident long-range shooter. He does show post-up skills at times as well. He can rebound fairy well too.

6’2 SG Jacob Wright of Del Campo HS (CA) 2023 (Rose City Ballers 17u Select)
He’s the go-to guy if you’re looking for a 3-pt basket. In one game he had 4 3’s in the first half, and back to backs. He roams the baseline squared and ready to shoot.

*6’4 SF Jamal Wright of San Diego Mesa College (CA) 2022 JUCO (Olympian)

Wright is a finisher extraordinaire. He goes very hard to the hoop and can finish with contact. His strength allows him to absorb the contact. He is aggressive and fearless in his approach. He does need to prove himself as a perimeter shooter.

6’2 SG Westley Young of Pittsburgh HS (CA) 2024 (Dream Sports Academy 16)
He plays a solid floor game, doesn’t force things, and takes what’s there. He has enough skills to get his shot off on the dribble and into the lane to challenge a bit. He’s ok in transition and will shoot his 3 if open. DII/ DIII/Juco.
